Due to smog, the school education department has also issued a holiday notification in 10 districts on Saturday, November 18.
According to the notification of the Department of School Education, public and private schools will remain closed in Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Sialkot, Narowal, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin.
The School Education Department says that the CEOs of the respective districts will implement the decision.
On the other hand, Lahore city has come to the first place in the list of the most polluted cities in the world, the overall air quality index of the city is being recorded at 343.
In this regard, the administration has instructed the citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and ensure the use of masks while leaving home.
