Caretaker Chief Minister Of Pakhtunkhwa Took Oath Of Office

Canada Global(Web News)Arshad Hussain Shah took the oath of office as caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ghulam Ali administered the oath of office to Justice (R) Arshad Hussain Shah in a ceremony held at Governor House Peshawar. People belonging to different walks of life including the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court participated in the swearing in ceremony. .

After the death of Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Azam Khan, fulfilling the constitutional requirements, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali wrote a letter to former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan and opposition leader Akram Durrani for consultation on the appointment of a new caretaker chief minister.

In the meeting held on Sunday morning, the consultation process started between former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan and opposition leader Akram Durrani and the name of retired Justice Arshad Hussain Shah was agreed upon in the first meeting.

After which the summary was sent to the Governor House, as soon as the summary was received, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali signed it and thus this constitutional matter was settled amicably.
