In Ontario, Payroll Information Is Mandatory For Businessmen

Canada Global(Web News)It will soon be mandatory for employers in Ontario to provide information about allowances or salary when posting a job.

The proposal is also part of a new bill aimed at increasing transparency for job seekers. A new “Working for Workers” bill will be introduced when MPs return to Queen’s Park on November 14. Last week, Labor Minister David Picchini said in an interview that he would be directly concerned when workers Salaries or allowances will be kept confidential.. Sometimes the salary that people expect from a new job is not mentioned at all until they find out about the job in the process of getting the job. And the salary is what they expect, it doesn’t come.

Puccini said the government could also talk about detailing jobs that pay less than $100,000 a year. He said working-class workers don’t earn six-figure salaries, but they should know that when applying for a new job, they at least want their new job. The job is better and they can get more salary than their previous salary.

The Ontario bill would also ensure that businesses disclose to job seekers that artificial intelligence (AI) has been used in the hiring process. It’s the same trend in workplaces these days, Puccini said.
