Canada Global(Web News)14 soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred in terrorist attacks in Pasni and Ormara areas of Balochistan, according to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR).
An intelligence-based operation was conducted in Roori area of Dera Ismail Khan, during which one terrorist was killed and two were injured in the exchange of fire. The slain terrorist has been identified as TTP suicide bomber Osama. According to ISPR, the terrorist was planning a high profile incident in the area.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Army, in the second operation conducted in Lakki Marwat district, a terrorist was killed while the hideouts of terrorists were also wiped out in the area. Two sepoys, Naik Zafar Iqbal and Sepoy Haji Jan, were martyred while fighting bravely in a fierce exchange of fire.
The third incident of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took place in Dera Ismail Khan where Havildar Shahid Iqbal was martyred in an improvised explosive device blast in Kalachi area.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, terrorists ambushed two vehicles of the forces going to Pasni and Ormara.
According to ISPR, the perpetrators of the heinous acts will be caught and brought to justice, operations are ongoing in the area, security forces are determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country.
Earlier, 6 people died as a result of a bomb blast in Dera Ismail Khan, while 21 people, including police personnel, were injured.
On the other hand, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesuri and other political and social figures have strongly condemned the attack on the Pakistan Army troops in Balochistan.
Chief Minister Sindh said that the martyrdom of 14 personnel is deeply regretted, the attack on the security forces is condemnable in every respect, strict action should be taken against the terrorists who attacked and they should be brought to justice. He said that those who attack the security forces are enemies of Pakistan, action should be taken against the enemies of the country.
He said that the officials who sacrificed their lives for national security are the heroes of the nation. The Chief Minister of Sindh also expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families, raising the ranks of the martyrs.
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri said that terrorists cannot demoralize the security forces with such cowardly acts.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the security forces near Omara area of Balochistan while paying tribute to the great sacrifice of the martyred soldiers and expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families.
He said that all the sympathies of the Punjab government are with the families of the martyrs, the martyrs are our pride, the martyrs sacrificed their precious lives for the peace of the dear country, their eternal sacrifices will always be remembered.
The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Ali Muhammad Khan said that he expresses regret for the martyrdom of 14 youths in Balochistan, terrorists cannot succeed in their goals.
