Canada Global(Web News)Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has said that the Parliament has constitutionally given the Election Commission the mandate of the elections and they have the mandate to announce the date of the elections, if they had this authority. It has been announced.

In a special conversation with the students of Lahore University of Management Sciences, the Prime Minister clarified that the Election Commission has the constitutional authority to announce the date of the elections.

On the question of a student, he said that the caretaker government has been established through the constitutional procedure. In the last National Assembly, the Leader of the House and the Leader of the Opposition nominated me as the Caretaker Prime Minister following the constitutional procedure.

He said that the Parliament passed a law under which the Election Commission of Pakistan was given the mandate to announce the date of the elections. The election date is not announced by the caretaker government or the Prime Minister, but by the Election Commission. If this mandate was given to me constitutionally, I would have announced the date of the elections.

Regarding the illegal immigrants living in Pakistan, the Prime Minister said that according to the government’s policy and relevant laws, all the illegal immigrants and foreigners are being sent back from the land of Pakistan. This law is not specific to Afghan citizens but applies to all foreigners who do not have legal documents.

He said that Afghan refugees are not being deported, but illegal foreigners are being sent back because it is a worldwide rule that any country does not allow a foreigner to enter their country without documents and passports. Does not allow entry.

The Prime Minister clarified that Pakistan hosted nearly 50 million Afghan citizens for forty years. One million foreigners have been identified as living in Pakistan without legal documents

He said the decision to repatriate the illegal aliens was taken at the national level with consultation of all stakeholders as the illegal aliens were found to be involved in various types of criminal activities which everyone was aware of.

He said that in response to a question related to an incident involving Afghan citizens, the Prime Minister said that he had given instructions to the relevant authorities of the Ministry of Interior to send the women and children back home in an honorable manner.
