Canada Global(web news)About 500 Jews who demonstrated to stop the Israeli bombing of Palestinians in Gaza have been arrested in the US Congress.
According to the foreign agency, the demonstration was organized by the anti-war group Jewish Voice for Peace, in which the demonstrators wore shirts emblazoned with the words “NOT IN OUR NAME”.
Protesters at the US Congress building also held up a large banner that read “Stop the war, as the Israeli bombardment continues to increase the death toll in the Gaza Strip.”
About 10,000 people also marched on the streets of the US capital, according to Jewish Voice for Peace on social media website X.
It should be noted that due to the war that started on October 7, Israel has completely blocked the supply of water, food, electricity and medical aid to the Palestinians by completely besieging the Gaza Strip.
As a result of Israel’s barbaric bombardment, three and a half thousand people, including women and children, have been martyred in Gaza so far, while one and a half thousand people, including hundreds of Israeli forces, have died due to the attacks of Hamas in Israeli cities.
Today, 500 Jews were arrested and 10k took to the streets to support and to demand a ceasefire and an end to Palestinian genocide.
