Canada Global (Web News) In Monday’s interbank trade, the Pakistani rupee lost Rs6.03 against the US dollar and ended the day at Rs269.63 as opposed to Rs262.60 the day before.
The purchasing and selling values of the dollar in the open market were reported at Rs268 and Rs270.5, respectively, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP).
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the price of the euro increased by Rs7.11 and ended the day at Rs292.71 compared to the previous day’s closing price of Rs285.60 (SBP).
The British pound saw a boost in value of Rs8.87, trading at Rs333.81 as opposed to its previous closing of Rs324.94, while the Japanese yen saw an increase of 06 paisa to close at Rs2.07.
The exchange rates for the Saudi riyal and the Emirates dirham increased by Rs1.87 and Rs1.91 paisa, respectively, to settle at Rs71.82 and Rs73.40.
