Canada Global (Web News) On Tuesday, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, a former chief minister of Punjab, expressed his frustration by claiming that the officers who had a record for opposing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were being deployed.
Sibtain Khan, a former speaker of the Punjab Assembly, and Mr. Elahi met to talk politics and changes to the Punjab bureaucracy under the interim government.
Elahi criticised the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), saying it didn’t conduct fair elections.
Mr. Elahi expressed regret at the placement of officers in Punjab, saying, “The contentious officials were placing in the Punjab.”
Imran Khan, a former prime minister, was “fighting the corruption mafia with enormous determination,” according to Mr. Elahi.
