Canada Global (Web News) In interbank trade on Tuesday, the Pakistani rupee lost 25 paisa versus the US dollar and ended the day at Rs230.40 as opposed to Rs230.15 the day before.
The purchasing and selling values of the dollar in the open market were reported at Rs237.75 and Rs240.25, respectively, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP).
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the price of the euro dropped by 17 paisas to settle at Rs251.01 from Rs251.18 the day before (SBP).
The British pound increased in value by 30 paisa to trade at Rs285.95 from its previous closing price of Rs285.65, while the Japanese yen increased by one paisa to conclude at Rs1.77.
The exchange rates for the Saudi riyal and the Emirates dirham increased by 06 and 08 pesos, respectively, to settle at Rs62.72 and Rs61.36.
