Canada Global (Web News) The Regina Police Service reported that a 12-year-old girl was detained after a restaurant break-in on Sunday night.
Three teenage girls were identified as probable suspects, and police said they were called to a store in the 700 block of Albert Street at about 9:13 p.m.
Police discovered that alcohol had been consumed and that a window had been damaged with a fire extinguisher.
The three suspects were located, but because two of the girls were underage, no charges could be filed against them.
A 12-year-old girl was charged with breaking and entering as the third suspect.
The young woman was released with conditions and will make her Youth Court debut on March 6.
