Canada Global (Web News) Careem, a ride-hailing app, has celebrated finishing 1 billion rides throughout Pakistan, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Captain Razak Uppattil, who has taken 10,500 rides since signing up with Careem four years ago, accomplished the billionth journey.
The Dubai-based super app awarded Uppattil a vacation back to India to see his family as a way of celebrating the achievement.
The folks I get to meet from all around the world are what I really appreciate, he claimed.
“I am so happy I will soon visit my three children back home in Kerala, India.”
A year’s worth of ride-hailing journeys were presented to Genera Tesoro, Careem’s 1 billionth customer, to commemorate the occasion.
Careem, which celebrated its tenth anniversary in July, is currently available in more than 100 cities across 14 nations. Ahead of the World Cup, it has increased its fleet in Qatar by more than 50%.
