Toronto’s Temperature Record Was Broken In More Than 70 Years

Canada Global(Web News)On Wednesday, a record of more than 70 years of temperature in Toronto appears to be broken. The previous record of 21.7 degrees Celsius was surpassed in 1950 when it was set at Toronto Pearson Airport at 3 pm. With temperatures hovering around 23.1C,

it looks like the traditional Canadian Halloween with coats covering costumes won’t be happening this year as it’s set to stay warm on Thursday.
Meteorologist Natasha Ramshai said: “It’s likely we’ll break another record tomorrow for the warmest Halloween on record, but there’s still a chance of light rain.”
“We may be seeing some rain in some areas moving into the trickle-or-treating time,” Ramshai said. At 3 pm we can see a couple of scattered showers. But at 6 p.m., so if you’re an early trick-or-treater, most areas will be dry.
Several temperature records have been broken this year. Gaya, which broke the February 9 record of 10.6 degrees Celsius set in 1938.
And a month later, the previous record of 13.3 degrees Celsius, set on March 4, 1974, was broken.
