Canada Global (Web News) Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Chief of the Pakistan Navy, has said that the Armed Forces are fully capable of dealing with terrorism. Speaking at the passing out parade ceremony of the 121st Midshipman at the Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi, the Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf said congratulations to the cadets and their parents who completed the training, Pakistan Naval Academy has provided quality training.
He said that cadets should equip themselves with modern trends, hoping that cadets from friendly countries will play a role in promoting relations.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf further said that Pakistan is facing internal and external security challenges, armed forces are fully capable of dealing with terrorism.
Earlier, passing out parade of 121st Midshipmen was held at Pakistan Naval Academy, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf attended the ceremony as Chief Guest.
During the passing out parade, 70 midshipmen and 28 SSC cadets graduated, 29th Short Service Commission Course cadets of Pakistan Navy also passed out.
During the ceremony, Admiral Naveed Ashraf distributed prizes to those who performed well, Lieutenant Naveed Ahmed was awarded the Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal for overall performance, Midshipman Abdullah Waheed was awarded Sword of Honor, Midshipman Aftab Ahmed was awarded the Academy Award. Officer Cadet Muhammad Khabib was awarded the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gold Medal.
From Sri Lanka, Officer Cadet Timyuthina Koon was awarded the Chief of the Naval Staff Gold Medal, Officer Cadet Muhammad Danish was awarded the Commandant Gold Medal.
