The climbers did not return from Garibaldi Provincial Park on Friday when they set out to climb Atwell Peak.
Squamish search and rescue manager BJ BJ Choate said it was not a typical day by any means. This is a very technical and adventurous task, which will require ropes, harnesses, harnesses.
Low visibility and snowy conditions hampered rescue efforts for four days, but search helicopters were finally able to fly near Atwell Peak after skies cleared Wednesday.
