Canada Global(Web News)Taylor Swift’s father is under investigation for allegedly punching a photographer in the jaw on the Sydney waterfront early Tuesday.
Photographer Ben McDonald told the Associated Press (AP) and AFP that he reported Scott Swift, 71, to police shortly after the encounter even though his injuries were minor.
MacDonald said I had no injuries and did not require medical attention,
adding that I had not been assaulted or punched in 23 years,
the New South Wales Police Force confirmed. They are investigating a report that a 71-year-old man allegedly assaulted a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf around 2:30 a.m.
Police have not released the names of those involved. A law enforcement source said the suspect is Taylor’s father.
Hours before the alleged altercation, Taylor had wrapped her final Era Tour show at Accore Stadium. The pop star and her entourage partied on a yacht in Sydney Harbor before docking at Neutral Bay Wharf.
