Canada Global(Web News)Toronto actor Kenneth Mitchell, who found steady work in television and film despite being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2018, has passed away at the age of sixty-eight.
Mitchell’s family said in a post on their Instagram account that the Star Trek: Discovery and Jericho actor died on Saturday.

After experiencing health problems and wondering if she shared her mother’s multiple sclerosis diagnosis, Mitchell was told in August 2018 that she had ALS.
After the 1930s New York Yankees star, the disease destroys nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord needed to walk, talk, swallow and eventually breathe. Most people with ALS die within a few years of diagnosis.
