Canada Global (Web News) An anti-doping report has revealed that at least nine professional footballers have used banned substances since 2022.
Premier League players are also among those using banned drugs, but none of them have yet been banned. According to the report, all affected players have been allowed to continue playing because the Football Association has accepted that the banned drugs were either used for medical reasons or were taken with permission. The cases are separate from the high-profile players who have been formally prosecuted, including Chelsea’s Mikhail Modric and former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
