
Canada Global(Web News)According to information provided by Peel Regional Police, five teenagers, including three girls, have been charged with armed carjacking in Brampton.
Police officers were called to the Brampton Commercial Plaza near Wooden Street East and Kennedy Road North just after 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 26 after reports of a robbery. According to reports, a man was in his 2023 Dodge Charger when he was approached by two suspects, one of whom was armed with a handgun. The police said that the miscreants forced the man out of the vehicle and fled with the vehicle.
The person was not physically harmed. Police later found the stolen vehicle in Mississauga. Police arrested five youths. Fake weapons have also been recovered from them.
Two boys aged 15 and 16 were arrested and charged and three girls aged 15 to 16 were also arrested and charged. Their names have not been released because they are minors.
