Canada Global (Web News) The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) reported that a 5.8-magnitude earthquake shook areas of Pakistan, including Islamabad, Peshwar, and Rawalpindi. There were no reports of casualties, however.
According to the seismological centre, the earthquake’s epicentre occurred in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, and its depth was 173 kilometres. It shook not only some areas of Pakistan but also its neighbours, India and Afghanistan.
