45% Increase In Salaries And Allowances Of Bureaucrats

Canada Global(Web News)The Caretaker Government has increased the salaries and allowances of bureaucrats holding top management positions, commonly known as Management Position (MP) Scales, by 45 percent from October 1.

According to a report, the finance ministry has said in a notification that the increase will be applicable to the salaries of MP-1, MP-2 and MP-3 scale officers, including basic pay, house rent and utility bills. .

These officers are distinguished from career bureaucrats, who are usually hired from the private sector because of their expertise in relevant fields.

The finance ministry said that the monthly remuneration of MP-1 scale officers started from Rs 5 lakh 54 thousand 600, which includes basic pay, house rent and utilities, with a maximum monthly remuneration of Rs 6 lakh 99 thousand 250. Now the minimum compensation will be 8 lakh 4 thousand 180 rupees and the maximum compensation will be 10 lakh 13 thousand 920 rupees per month.

Officers of this grade will also get Rs 95,910 per month as transport monetization allowance, taking the revised monthly package from Rs 9,900 to Rs 1,19,830.

Similarly, the minimum and maximum monthly salary of MP II scale officers was Rs 2 lakh 55 thousand 750 and Rs 4 lakh 13 thousand 600 respectively, now it is minimum Rs 3 lakh 70 thousand 850 to Rs 5 lakh 99. It’s done. One thousand 740 rupees. The monthly monetization allowance for this scale will be 77 thousand 430 rupees.

MP3 grade officers used to get 165 thousand 855 to 2 lakh 33 thousand 750 rupees per month, this amount has now been increased from 2 lakh 40 thousand 460 rupees to 3 lakh 38 thousand 960 rupees, monetization is 65 thousand 60 rupees. Allowance is in addition to this.

The concerned Ministries and Divisions have been asked to meet the expenditure as per this salary revision from their allocated budget for the current financial year.

The revised package will benefit MP scale officers while the extension of contract of existing MP scale holders is subject to satisfactory evaluation committee’s performance reviews and approval of concerned authorities.

In addition, all MP officers, their spouses and children will be covered for medical expenses at officially recognized institutions in the country.
