Canada Global (Web News) On Monday, there was yet another explosion, this time on Sariab Road, which signalled the start of a fresh wave of terrorism in the city of Quetta.
Two persons were hurt in the explosion, which also severely damaged a police van.
In the Sariab neighbourhood of Quetta, the event took place on Munir Badini Road.
Police and security personnel promptly blocked off the area after the explosion to secure the scene.
Luckily, SHO Saryab escaped the explosion unscathed, but the police van sustained significant damage.
The injured people were given rapid medical attention at the hospital.
According to police sources, the bomb used in the attack weighed between 1.5 and 2 kg.
Four people were killed earlier today, including two police officers, and 18 others were hurt when a bomb took place close to a police van.
Two policemen were among the four people who died in the explosion in Shahrah-e-Iqbal, according to a police statement. It also caused damage to nearby cars and motorcycles. According to authorities, the deceased were taken to a hospital.
The police van was the target, according to SSP Operations Captain (Retd) Zohaib Mohsin. He continued, “The explosives, which weighed up to four kilogrammes, were planted in a motorcycle.”
The SSP reported that two victims were in critical condition.
The neighborhood’s government denounced the assaults and vowed to hold those responsible accountable.
