Canada Global(Web News)Two people were injured in an accident in the west end of Toronto on Sunday morning. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Martin Grove and Porterfield roads north of Rexdale Boulevard just before 6:30 a.m. A 19-year-old man was driving north on Martin Grove Road in a 2022 model silver Nissan Rogue when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.’
A 20-year-old passenger in the vehicle was airlifted to a trauma center in critical condition, a Toronto Paramedic Services spokesperson said. The driver was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Toronto police officials initially said it was a two-vehicle crash, but in an update Sunday morning, the crash was a single-vehicle crash.’
Martin Grove Road between Porterfield Road and Jeffcoat Drive has been closed by Toronto police officers to collect evidence. The area was later opened for traffic.
