Emergency crews were called to Hart Lake and Mayfield Road at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday after a school bus and an SUV collided. According to paramedics, one person in the SUV died at the scene and another was in critical condition. was told Keldon OPP Sergeant Joe Brisboys said that this is a very tragic incident and that it happened during the holiday season, which is even more regrettable.
An adult driver and a child were present in the school bus at the time of the accident. Both suffered minor injuries and were not even taken to the hospital. After the accident, the bus fell into the ditch on the left side of Hart Lake Road and the SUV fell into the ditch on the other side of the road.
